Upcoming Events:

June 16-20, 2009: ABA Convention will include a tour of the National Brewery Museum where Rich Wagner will be installing three exhibits: The Biography of Charlie Lieberman, The Chronology of Technology of Philadelphia's Brewing Industry (1685-1987), and a display of Pittsburgh brewery bottles.
July 18, 2009 Rich Wagner will be conducting a colonial brewing demonstration at the Spring House Brewing Company.
On Friday August 14, 2009 the Bucks County Historical Society is sponsoring their fourth annual Brewery Night and Rich Wagner will be presenting “The Beers and Breweries of Early Philadelphia,” which will be followed by beer tasting. Check out their link for more information.
On Saturday September 12, 2009 at 2 PM at Philadelphia Brewing Company Rich Wagner will give a presentation entitled “Ortlieb's, Brewers by Birth Since 1869.” The event is free and open to the public, no reservations are required.

“Creatively Speaking” (Temple University radio WRTI 90.1 FM) is a 30 minute program, Rich's interview is the third of four seven minute segments. Creatively Speaking December 13, 2009. Tom Keels on Brewing in Philadelphia, past and present.
Sue Henry's 47 minute documentary: “Beer Gardening in Northeastern PA” aired on WILK 980 AM in October 2007. The show includes interviews with Rich Wagner, who drove around for a day showing Sue some of the old breweries of the Wyoming Valley, Wilkes-Barre and Scranton. Also included is her tour with the Lion Brewery's Leo Orlandini and a visit with local breweriana collector Al Kogoy in his basement brewery musuem. Al supplied some vintage radio ads dating back to the fifties and sixties from the region's breweries.
