Tube City B.C.

In August of 1983 we arrived in McKeesport just in time to see the last of the Tube City brewery in the process of being razed. You can bareley make out the boom of the wrecking ball in the upper left part of the photograph. This picture was featured in "American Breweries We Once Knew" in Zymurgy, Summer 1982. The lithograph at right is from a turn of the century letterhead.
